Tommy Hilfiger x CLOT Collection Celebrates Year of the Dragon

East meets West once again as Edison Chen’s CLOT teams up with Tommy Hilfiger on a new collection in celebration of the Lunar New Year.

First previewed at CLOT’s SS24 Shanghai Fashion Week show, The Tommy x CLOT collab combines Tommy’s Classic American Cool DNA with CLOT’s Chinese youth culture aesthetic. The resulting collection serves as a lively tribute to the creative spirit that’s sparked when different cultures come together.

As 2024 marks the Year of the Dragon, the collection is comprised of bold and classic styles inspired by the dragon’s strength, luck, and success. A stand-out piece is the reversible bomber jacket, featuring red, white, and blue striping on one side and a Tommy X CLOT monogram on the other. Prep staples include a blazer, chinos, and skirt, as well as a rugby sweater and cardigan lined with CLOT stripes. Subtle stripe details are also applied to the denim jacket and pants. Polos, tees, hoodies, and a bright red tracksuit round out the apparel offering, while accessories include caps, bucket hats, a shoulder bag, tote, and keychains.

“When I was a kid growing up in Hong Kong, I used to read American hip-hop magazines that showed my favorite artists in Tommy’s loud prep,” says Edison Chen. “I wanted to be part of that. I am so thrilled to lend our culture to this collection, putting its spirit and meaning into the design. The most interesting part was communicating the feeling of the dragon, its power and success, in a way that is true.”
