A recent report shared by Matt Powell, Vice President and Senior Sports Industry Advisor of The NPD Group, revealed the top selling sneaker models of the first half of 2021. To no surprise, Nike dominated the Top 10 list, taking the top seven spots if you include the Air Jordan 1 Mid. However, the final two spots are somewhat surprising, both taken by Brooks. The Three Stripes rounds out the list with the adidas NMD R1 at number 8.
The reports goes on to explain that performance running footwear sales grew by about one-third in 2021 as compared to 2020, with Brooks being the leader in women’s performance running shoe sales.
