New Balance is celebrating the Toronto Raptors championship victory and their star Kawhi Leonard with two special edition versions of their 997 & 990v5 silhouettes. Each pair features a black mesh upper with purple suede overlays. The 990v5 incorporates Raptors red with the shoelaces, while the 997 includes red suede on the ankle and forefoot.
New Balance was offering pre-orders on their site, but demand was so high that the site crashed and both sneakers sold out immediately. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for info on a restock, and check out the official photos below.
