Original Story (03/10/21): While a new Travis Scott x Air Jordan 6 is on the horizon, La Flame is seemingly not done with the Air Jordan 1. Images of what appear to be new Cactus Jack x Air Jordan 1s have been cropping up throughout 2021, though these new versions appear to be a three-way collaboration between Travis Scott, Jordan Brand, and Hiroshi Fujiwara’s fragment design.
At the top of the year, Travis Scott was spotted wearing what appeared to be a blue version of his Cactus Jack x Air Jordan 1 Low. Later, a new image of the shoe surfaced, revealing fragment’s signature thunderbolt logo on the heel and style code markings on the midsole. Soon after, Travis Scott was spotted wearing a high version. The man himself also confirmed their existence in a FaceTime chat with Twitch streamer Adin Ross.
Now, images of a third fragment x Cactus Jack x Air Jordan 1 have surfaced, this time in an alternate color scheme. Similar to the alternate version of the original Cactus Jack x Air Jordan 1, the color blocking is shifted so that white dresses the mudguard, eyestays, and lateral paneling. The reverse Swoosh makes its return, while blue dresses the toebox this time around. As a final touch, both Cactus Jack and fragment branding are seen on the heels and tongue tags.
Check out the Travis Scott x fragment design x Air Jordan 1 below. These may possibly be customs made just for Travis Scott, or we may see a public release in the future. Only time will tell so stay tuned to Modern Notoriety as updates unfold.
