Tyler, The Creator and Converse are ushering in the next evolution of the 1908 program with the introduction of the Bronco Boot. Through Tyler’s curatorial lens, the bold silhouette expands beyond archival revivals and honors Converse’s lesser-seen heritage — from hunting and work boots to military-grade builds.
Crafted from premium materials, the 1908 Bronco Boot features a split upper inspired by Chuck DNA design codes. Padding at the collar and tongue enhances comfort, while a step-off lug outsole ensures a secure, grounded feel. On the medial side, an original dog motif patch adds character, while the lateral side carries classic Converse All Star branding. le FLEUR* marks appear on the tongue, tying the design back to Tyler’s signature aesthetic. Each pair is finished with intricate detailing — a molded rubber toe with diamond texture, round laces, metal hardware, and a faux welt with heavy stitching.
The Bronco Boot debuts in four colorways pulled from the le FLEUR* palette: Pear Sorbet, featuring a refined canvas upper, alongside Aspen Green, Emperador (brown), and Black, each rendered in leather for depth and durability.
Rooted in Converse’s deep history, the 1908 Bronco Boot draws from the brand’s early 20th-century archive, when it produced rubber boots, waders, and outdoor footwear built for durability and protection. Its modern design also takes cues from the 1990s Mud Chunk — a sneaker-boot hybrid defined by a molded rubber vamp, split upper, and lugged outsole — all key elements reinterpreted in today’s silhouette.
The Bronco Boot is the latest silhouette to emerge from Tyler and Converse’s 1908 Archival Series, a celebration of the brand’s lasting legacy—from 1908 to 2025 and beyond. It follows the re-introduction of the Jogger and NAUT-1, both released earlier this year.
