Following the debut of their 1908 collection earlier this year, Tyler, The Creator reunites with Converse to deliver three new colorways of the classic Naut-1 and two new colorways of the Coach Jogger style.
Tyler’s eye for rich color palettes and vintage influences showcased in the first archival collection continues in the second drop. He revitalizes the nautical boat shoe-inspired Naut-1, which emerged as far back as the early ’70s and prioritized functionality. In the modern day, the Naut-1 continues maintaining comfort while fusing street style within its timeless staple design.
The “Molten Lava” colorway is adorned with red pinstripe uppers, cream midsoles, and a gum brown outsole. Similarly, the “Green Tambourine” follows suit with green pinstripes. The “Reseda” colorway stands out with a green boucle upper and natural ivory flat cotton lace.
The second shoe pulled from Converse’s extensive archival collection is the Coach Jogger, which was originally inspired by athleticism, performance, and everyday durability. Tyler reimagines this versatile style with its original wedge sole and wrap-around heel detailing.
The “Tap Shoe” colorway comes in a sleek classic black with signature color Le Fleur branding on the woven nylon upper and mesh lining. Two sets of laces are available, including white and forest green. The “Gleam” offers a softer hue of light green uppers with two set of laces, white and lavender.
Drop 2 of the Tyler, The Creator x Converse 1908 collection will be available in a limited global release on August 12th on Converse.com (10am ET), the GOLF le FLEUR* website, and at select retailers. Check them out below.
