UNDEFEATED has never ventured into college sports during its 25-year run, making this one of the more unexpected directions the brand could’ve taken for its anniversary year. The label is teaming up with College Vault, the archival merchandise arm of Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC), for its first-ever run of school-branded gear.
The collection covers 13 football programs: Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Indiana, LSU, Oklahoma, Penn State, Stanford, Tennessee, Texas, and Texas A&M. The pieces lean heavily into throwback mascot art rather than the current logo packs most schools push today. Think old cartoon tigers, faded helmet graphics, and stacked collegiate type, the kind of look that usually only turns up on vintage tees from decades-old game days. UNDEFEATED’s own bar logo is incorporated into most of the pieces, sitting alongside each school’s marks rather than competing with them.
“When it comes to the intersection of sport, fashion, and street culture, UNDEFEATED has long set the standard, paralleling the synergy of tradition, passion, and relevancy we have built in College Vault,” says Nicole Armentrout, Senior Vice President of Marketing at CLC. “Pairing UNDEFEATED’s unmistakable point of view with iconic, powerful collegiate brands has created something fresh, authentic, and exciting for both longtime fans and new audiences.”
The assortment itself is straightforward: hoodies, sweatpants, shorts, tees, snapbacks, totes, cups, and stickers, giving each school a real range rather than just a single graphic tee. Pricing runs from $12 for the sticker pack to $130 for the hoodies, putting this closer to UNDEFEATED’s usual price point than standard campus bookstore merch.
And this is only the first half. A second capsule is scheduled for December, shifting the focus to college basketball programs. The participating schools have yet to be announced.
