UNDEFEATED, Converse, and Major League Baseball come together to celebrate the legacy of one of the game’s most storied franchises with a fresh take on the classic Chuck 70.
The “Brooklyn Dodgers” colorway pays tribute to the team’s first 68 seasons in Brooklyn before its relocation to Los Angeles in 1958. The era remains one of the most significant in baseball history, highlighted by Jackie Robinson breaking the league’s color barrier in 1947. His impact is honored each year on Jackie Robinson Day, celebrated on April 15.
The sneaker features a black faux ostrich leather upper, accented by a stitched B logo, Brooklyn embroidery on the tongue, and custom Converse × UNDEFEATED × Dodgers license plates at the heel. Additional details include baby blue Brooklyn Dodgers and UNDEFEATED branding on the inner tongues, tying back to the team’s historic color palette.
While not yet officially announced, a “Los Angeles Dodgers” colorway dressed in blue is also expected to release as part of the collaboration.
To mark the drop, Converse, UNDEFEATED, and MLB tapped a cast of New York-based creatives for the campaign, including Kalil Justin, Ashley Alicea, and graffiti icon Futura.
The UNDEFEATED x Converse Chuck 70 “Brooklyn Dodgers” drops Saturday, April 18 at UNDEFEATED locations in New York, La Brea, Phoenix, and Las Vegas, the UNDEFEATED website, MLB Shop, the MLB NYC flagship store, and the Dodgers Team Store.
