Turns out one wasn’t enough. UNheardof founder Philip Lipschutz is expanding his Piggy universe, and two new adidas Adistar Control 5 “Piggy Runner 2.0” colorways have surfaced to prove it, both revealed when Lipschutz recently visited adidas’ U.S. headquarters.
The first makeup goes full candy pink — a hot coral situation drenched head-to-toe in the same saturated hue: suede overlays, mesh base, midsole, laces, all of it. The only break from the monochrome comes underfoot, where a multicolor outsole in pink, yellow, and mint adds a playful twist. The second leans into a butter yellow with baby-pink Three Stripes cutting across the side, pale-yellow mesh paneling, and that same jellybean-crazy outsole treatment in yellow, pink, and blue. Both shoes also come with alternate lace sets.
What really tells the story are the tongues and the insoles. Each colorway gets its own distinct embroidered “Piggy Universe” character: a red-faced piggy with sunglasses for the coral pair and a yellow piggy with a blue adidas headband for the yellow sneaker, making these feel less like two versions of the same shoe and more like two different members of the same crew. The insoles continue the character work as well, featuring colorful piggy graphics. Lipschutz continues to build his own world through this collab.
These two new adidas Adistar Control 5 “Piggy Runner 2.0s” colorways are set to land alongside the original green “Piggy Runner 2.0” on March 28th in limited quantities. Your best bet is to cop in-store at UNheardof in Cincinnati on launch day, though you can try your luck online on the UNheardof website at 11am ET. Check out both of the new colorways below.
