VANDYTHEPINK and ASICS are back with a new collaboration, sticking to the same ice cream theme from their GEL-NIMBUS 10.1 “Banana Split” project with atmos released last year.
This time, the Virginia-based brand takes on the ASICS GEL-KAYANO 12.1, dropping in “Vanilla” and “Chocolate” colorways. The “Vanilla” is dressed primarily in off-white across its mesh uppers and synthetic overlays, with accents in strawberry pink and pale banana yellow. The silhouette’s classic metallic silver overlays are also present, matching the ice cream scoop accessory that comes with each pair.
The “Chocolate” colorway will be the more limited of the two, releasing exclusively through VANDYTHEPINK. It comes equipped with brown mesh uppers, metallic silver synthetic overlays, and pink and yellow accents. Both colorways feature VANDYTHEPINK branding on the lateral heels and are equipped with dual-colored tags featuring Vandy’s signature flower logo. Each pair comes with alternate laces and special ice-cream-themed packaging.
