VANDYTHEPINK Blasts Into Metro City with Astro Boy Collection

Featuring apparel, accessories, and a collectible figure.

Virginia-based streetwear brand VANDYTHEPINK is dropping an apparel and accessories collection in collaboration with Astro Boy, the Japanese manga and anime franchise created by Osamu Tezuka.

When it comes to collaborations, Korean designer Junghoon Son leaves minimalism behind, crafting VANDYTHEPINK pieces with artistic intention and an unparalleled vision. For apparel, the brand’s red and blue flower motifs and Astro Boy seep into a white tee, a reversible flannel jacket, and a staple blue jersey. There’s also an acid wash hoodie that features a graphic of Astro Boy with his loyal dog companion Jump.

As for accessories, the lovable character peeks through the VANDYTHEPINK logo, which is showcased on caps, beanies, a rug, tote bag, and sticker pack. Lastly, the duo is releasing an exclusive ASTRO BOY collectible figure dressed in its own VTP jersey.

The VANDYTHEPINK x Astro Boy collection will be available March 17th at 12pm ET on onvandylab.org. An early release will take place on March 14th in Los Angeles at the Complex LA pop-up from 11am to 7pm, located at 433 N Fairfax Ave. The event includes a panel discussion with Vandy and 1TYM Danny at 1pm, as well as art toys signed by Vandy.
