Vault by Vans x END. x MASTERMIND WORLD Collection

Vault by Vans has partnered with UK-based END. and Japanese label MASTERMIND WORLD on a capsule that features the Old Skool Cap LX and Sk8-Hi Cap LX.

The collection emphasizes intricate detailing and punk styling that MASTERMIND is known for since founded by Japanese designer Masaaki Homma in 1997. The Old Skool Cap LX features a DIY-like cut-and-paste design, with uppers constructed from a mix of premium suede, leather, and canvas. Exposed foam is worked into the collars and Sidestripe, with additional details including checkerboard pattern on the medial and double tongues. Branding appears in the form of a skull logo on the heel and MASTERMIND stamped across the midsole in block letter font.

The Sk8-Hi Cap LX features similar experimental design cues, this time incorporating a zipper on the lateral for added punk aesthetic. Other details include a large skull logo printed on the medial and midsoles with split, layered, and misaligned foxing tape that fall in line with the collection’s cut-and-paste inspiration. Each style comes in black and white colorways. Rounding out the collection is a co-branded, black and white skate deck with skulls printed on either side.

The Vault by Vans x END. x MASTERMIND WORLD collection drops via END. Launches on November 27th, with raffle entries accepted now until November 26 at 4:01pm GMT. Check out the four footwear styles and accompanying skate deck below.
