Fashion stylist and designer Veneda Carter is back with the second drop of her Air Max Muse collaboration with Nike. Following the release of the “Cargo Khaki” colorway last summer, the VC Air Max Muse is now releasing in “Racer Blue.”
Sporty yet feminine, the Air Max Muse made its debut in 2024 as a women’s exclusive silhouette with a retro-meets-modern aesthetic. However, the fellas can get in on these too. Drake shared flicks of himself rocking these earlier this year.
The shoe features a blue textured upper with white tumbled leather overlays, metallic silver mini swooshes on the side panels, and a pop of neon green on the Air bubble on the heel. A special feature on these is the silver lace tips that are textured to match Veneda Carter’s jewelry and the hardware found on her apparel pieces.
“When I went to Nike’s headquarters to work on my second colorway of the Air Max Muse, all the references I pulled from the Department of Nike Archives were retro running shoes with cool, shiny materials and a mix of brighter colors,” says Veneda. “I wanted to recreate that feeling with this shoe, connecting people to Nike’s running heritage and the kind of sneakers I wore growing up.”
