Victor Solomon and Nike come together for NBA All-Star Weekend 2026 to unveil their collaborative Trophies collection. The offering reimagines the Air Foamposite One, Air Force 1, and Air Max 90 in a refined white, gold, and black palette, celebrating Solomon’s long-standing dialogue between basketball, sculpture, and luxury craft while honoring the cultural landmarks that have shaped his journey through Los Angeles.
Solomon is a respected sculptor and designer due to his ability to merge basketball culture with fine art. Known for his intricate, stained-glass work and ornate trophy designs, including his contribution to the NBA’s 75th Anniversary trophies.
The Air Foamposite One “Westside Beaches” draws inspiration from the coastal energy of Los Angeles’ western shores and features a paisley all-over print in black pen on the upper, stretching to the toe.
Channeling the luxury and nightlife of the famed Sunset Boulevard is the Air Force 1 “Sunset Strip” with a golden swoosh.
The Air Max 90 “Downtown Diamond District” nods to the historic jewelry hub where Solomon learned the craft that molded his practice, and a key feature on the shoe is that the swoosh is, of course, stone-crusted.
Across the collection, Solomon’s signature design language emerges through cracked leather textures and ornate lacing systems with polished golden hardware. Solomon frames the collaboration as a 10-year journey through his life and career, spanning Los Angeles.
The launch is accompanied by an immersive retail activation. Shoe Palace’s Melrose flagship will host a gallery-style experience open throughout All-Star Weekend. Visitors can engage in hands-on workshops, including Jeweled Nets, customizable mini basketballs and backboards, and sculptural “Message in a Vessel” sessions.
The Victor Solomon x Nike Trophies collection will launch at Shoe Palace Melrose on February 13th at 10am. Each style is limited to around 1,000 pairs. Check out all three below.
