Original Story (11/12/25): “Still got my Nike boots, flyer than the rest of ’em.” Wale first declared his love for the Swoosh in his 2007 song “Nike Boots,” paying homage to a DMV staple — the all-black ACG Goadome. Nearly two decades later, the D.C. rapper is finally getting his first official Nike collaboration.
The long-overdue collab was first unveiled in a commercial starring rapper and St. Louis native Smino, which also served as the reveal of the feature list for Wale’s forthcoming album, everything is a lot. The Wale x Nike ACG Goadome is equipped with a black crocodile-textured leather upper and a tag that reads “EIA,” the official acronym for the album. Wale branding on the heels and Every Blue Moon logos on the tongues come dressed in a navy hue, matching the mini Swooshes on the side panels and the Air bubble on the midsole.
everything is a lot. marks Wale’s eighth studio album — and his most personal to date. Set to release November 14th via Def Jam Recordings, it includes features from some of Nigeria’s most compelling voice. The full feature list includes BNYX, Leon Thomas, Seyi Vibez, Teni the Entertainer, ODUMODUBLVCK, Odeal, Andra Day, Ty Dolla $ign, Nino Paid, and Shaboozey.
Wale and Nike previously linked up for the Air Foamposite One DMV “Cherry Blossom” campaign, spotlighting the shoe’s deep connection to Wale’s hometown of Washington, D.C. Earlier this year, Wale also debuted the G.T. Future sneaker at NBA All-Star Weekend — reaffirming his status as one of the culture’s best-dressed, getting fits off not only in Nike boots, but in performance basketball shoes as well.
