Mark Gonzales Stars in Y-3’s Fall/Winter 2026 Campaign

The skate legend rocks the new collection featuring artwork by CHITO.

Y-3 has never been interested in separating fashion from sport, and for Fall/Winter 2026, the label turns to someone who’s spent decades moving effortlessly between both worlds. Captured during Y-3’s presentation at Paris’ Palais d’Iéna earlier this year, the latest campaign stars legendary skateboarder Mark Gonzales, a longtime friend of Yohji Yamamoto and adidas whose influence reaches far beyond the skatepark.

Featuring photography by Jet Swan and a short film directed by Torsten Frank, the campaign leans into Gonzales’ unmistakable presence rather than a traditional fashion narrative. The images move between tailored and relaxed silhouettes, reflecting the way Y-3 continues to blur the lines between performance, skate culture, and everyday dressing. Meanwhile, the film captures creativity in motion as Gonz glides through the streets of Paris on his board.

The collection itself follows that same blurring of sport and style. Standout apparel includes oversized knitwear with extended Three Stripes and frayed hems, wide-leg wool trousers, and relaxed denim pieces, alongside one of the season’s highlights: a black leather biker jacket featuring graphics created in collaboration with the visual artist CHITO. His signature street-style hand also appears throughout the collection, adding bold graffiti-inspired interventions to Y-3’s otherwise restrained aesthetic.

On the footwear side, Y-3 introduces a trio of new silhouettes led by the Diagonal Stan Smith, a warped reinterpretation of adidas’ timeless tennis icon. Rounding out the lineup are the futuristic Tokyo Warped and the Nisi High, continuing the label’s signature balance of archival inspiration and experimental design.
