Ye has made it clear that he wants nothing to do with his corporate partners, adidas and GAP. While the YEEZY GAP deal has reportedly been terminated, there is still one more drop left.
Today, YEEZY and GAP introduced part two of its Engineered by Balenciaga collection. For the rollout, YZY GAP released new campaign visuals shot in Shinjuku, Tokyo by Raphael Bliss with creative direction and styling by Betsy Johnson. The shots feature masked-up individuals rocking pieces from the new offering, which includes outerwear and knitwear alongside refined essentials.
As part of this launch, the GAP Tokyo and Shanghai flagships will be given the YZY treatment, similar to what happened at 40+ GAP stores across the US in July. YZY GAP launches at GAP Tokyo on September 23rd and at GAP Shanghai on September 26th, marking the first time YZY GAP product will be available at stores outside of the US. Along with the campaign imagery, YZY GAP has released a GTA-inspired campaign video that was also shot in Tokyo.
YEEZY GAP Engineered by Balenciaga Part Two is available now globally on yeezygap.com, balenciaga.com, as well as at online partners Luisa Via Roma, Farfetch, and Mytheresa. Check out the campaign photos and video below.
