adidas isn’t done pushing the limits of what a 3D-printed shoe can look like, or feel like, for that matter. The Three Stripes are rolling out the next chapter of Climacool for Fall/Winter 2026, and this time the brand is leaning even harder into the sculpted, second-skin construction that made the silhouette a talking point in the first place.

For anyone unfamiliar, Climacool isn’t your average knit upper dressed up to look technical. This 3D-printed silhouette uses adidas’ additive manufacturing process, the same tech that just gave us the world’s first 3D-printed basketball shoe, the BB.01, born out of adidas’ Project: R.A.P. innovation platform. Climacool is proof that the tech isn’t staying confined to the hardwood. Here, that same lattice-building approach creates a sculpted structure that would be nearly impossible to replicate with a needle and thread, with ventilated channels running the length of the upper for 360-degree airflow.

The new colorways of the Climacool Laced are presented alongside a star-studded campaign. Rodrigo De Paul is a professional footballer from Argentina, known for his engine in midfield and for winning a World Cup title with the national team. Satou and Nyara Sabally are German-American sisters who both play professional basketball in the WNBA, each carving out her own path in the league. Tate McRae is a pop singer and dancer whose choreography-heavy performances have made movement basically her signature.
