First Look at the adidas Y-3 Ultraboost 21

Fresh off the announcement of its GR.1P GTX launch, we now have a look at another one of adidas Y-3’s upcoming releases, two monochromatic versions of the Ultraboost 21.

The shoe comes in black and white colorways that give a sleek, high-fashion feel to the adidas model. A few aspects of the original Ultraboost 21 are the same, including the stitching and thick heel. The laces, lining and overlays match the shades of the uppers. Branding comes in the form of a black “Y-3” heel and strip along the tongue that gives credit to Y-3’s main designer, Yohji Yamamoto. Y-3’s signature minimal motive and design make sure the shoe keeps its integrity while getting a monochromatic redressing.
