Original Story (02/22/26): The Air Jordan 4 “Tour Yellow” is returning this fall in celebration of the colorway’s 20th anniversary.

Originally launched in 2006 as part of Jordan Brand’s LS (Lifestyle) series, the “Tour Yellow” AJ4 set itself apart with a daring mix of premium white leather and punchy yellow accents streaking across the speckled midsole. Deep black and translucent grey details pull the entire look into focus. Its clever twist — a removable tongue patch revealing “Rare Air” branding — adds a distinctive touch to the design, a detail also found on the UNDEFEATED Air Jordan 4 and recently referenced on the “Rare Air” Jordan 4.

The 2026 “Tour Yellow” Air Jordan 4 promises to preserve the original design language that made the shoe a collectible for sneakerheads and a grail for fashion fans hunting standout silhouettes, while the “Rare Air” detailing gives the pair its own unique signature.

The Air Jordan 4 “Tour Yellow” is slated to drop on September 5th via SNKRS and select retailers in full family sizing. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.

Update (08/14/26): Official images of the 2026 “Tour Yellow” Air Jordan 4 have arrived. As expected, these are a 1-to-1 retro of the original release. However, instead of the original chrome box packaging from 2006, these will come in the MJ face box from the early 2000s that Jordan Brand has been using for various retro releases recently. Check them out below.
