Chicago native Matthew M. Williams has worked with top talents from the worlds of art, music, photography, and fashion throughout his career. Fresh off his MMW 4 release, the Givenchy director is now reconnecting with Nike on new “Wolf Grey” colorways of the premium Air Force 1 High created through his 1017 ALYX 9SM label.
Similar to the two colorways released in 2020, each white and black silhouette is dressed in ECCO Lyra, a tumbled, full-grain, pebbled Nappa leather. Wolf Grey leather straps come equipped with anodized aluminum buckles with laser-etched 1017-ALYX-9SM and Nike Swoosh branding. Cashmere is used on the inner lining which gives these AF1s a silky touch.
The ALYX x Nike Air Force 1 High is available via raffle on alyxstudios.com, with entries accepted though July 9th. Each pair is priced at $459 USD.
