Paying tribute to their Japanese roots, ASICS has created their latest “Kakishibu” colorway. Making use of the native Kakishibu textile process, the shoe exhibits a color reminiscent of the native Persimmon Tanin juice. The neutral variants of the tan upper is contrasted with splashes of a vibrant purple along the lace eyelets, heel, and outsole. A crisp white midsole rounds out the shoe as it adds another level of varidity. The shoe is available at ASICS retailers for $135 USD.
