Following the release of their Patchwork Superstar collaboration, adidas Originals and Edison Chen return with the CLOT Pro Model Collection — an elevated fusion of Ivy League sport aesthetics and refined tailoring that redefines the collegiate uniform through an East-meets-West lens.
Kickstarting the collection is the CLOT Pro Model, a premium reimagination of the high-top precursor to the adidas Superstar, reworked into a winter-ready boot offered in “Mineral Blue” and “Dark Brown” colorways. The silhouette pairs rich leather uppers with rope laces, gold-tone eyelets, and a chunky sawtooth sole built for durability and urban wear.
The accompanying apparel capsule reinterprets traditional Ivy League sportswear through a multicultural lens, merging vintage varsity codes with contemporary streetwear sensibilities. The standout CLOT Varsity Jacket, cut from herringbone felt, honors letterman heritage with shearling lining and embroidered co-branded emblems that celebrate cultural exchange. It features a 1960s-inspired polar bear mascot — one of Edison’s favorite animals — brought to life through chenille patches and collegiate graphics.
Premium knitwear includes the CLOT Sweater, which showcases mohair-inspired Trefoil branding that plays with softness and structure. Meanwhile, the corduroy Suit Jacket and Pant set merges classic tailoring with sport influences — the jacket adopts CLOT’s signature wrap-style closure, accented with subtle 3-Stripes detailing for an understated athletic touch. Foundational pieces such as the embroidered long-sleeve tee, French terry quarter-zip, and sweatpant round out the offering, featuring “Universitaire adidas CLOT” graphics and dual insignias inspired by university crest traditions.
