adidas Originals and Edison Chen present a bold new chapter in their evolving partnership with the launch of the CLOT Stan Smith Beaded.
Following last month’s release of the pink CLOT Superstar Breathe, Edison Chen continues to push the boundaries of uniting East and West through contemporary fashion-forward designs, utilizing the iconic Stan Smith silhouette as the foundation for a statement of cultural disruption and creative rebellion. The reimagined Stan Smith stays true to the silhouette’s tennis roots with a premium all-white leather upper, though Chen adds a slight twist with beads dangling from the contrast heel tab, adding a touch of casual elegance.
The Stan Smith Beaded is presented alongside a campaign starring Edison Chen and Korean model and actress Hoyeon Jung, best known for her role as Kang Sae-byeok in the Netflix series Squid Game. Set against the backdrop of a country club, the shoot challenges the codes of etiquette, uniformity, and access, capturing what happens when heritage is disrupted, and space is claimed on new terms.
