Original Story (02/18/26): Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been making waves with his signature sneaker, the Converse SHAI 001, and the buzz surrounding it is undeniable. Since its debut, the shoe has led to an impressive array of colorways that keep sneakerheads eager for more. What sets the SHAI 001 apart this time? For the first time ever, it boasts a full patterned upper instead of sticking to a single color.

This exciting performance silhouette caught our attention earlier this month for its luxurious, velvety brown colorway: the Converse SHAI 001 Lux “Truffle.” As spring approaches, SGA is set to keep the momentum going with the much-anticipated release of the “Camo” colorway, which was first seen on the feet of SGA while out and about during NBA All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles.

The sneaker itself has a captivating camo-print covering the entire upper, and to keep it cohesive, the zipper and outsole are a single color: army green. The SGA logo is embroidered in black right on the tongue and is also seen on the insole.

The Converse SHAI 001 “Camo” is slated to release on April 3rd through the Converse website and select retailers. And for those eagerly awaiting more, whispers of a pink colorway are circulating, promising even more variety. Grab an early look below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
