Original Story (05/14/25): In the early 2000s, Nike linked up with Fat Joe to create exclusive iterations of the Air Force 1 for the Terror Squad crew. A handful of colorways were produced, though none were made available to the public. That all changed in 2023 with the official release of the Terror Squad x Nike Air Force 1 in two colorways: “Loyalty” and “Blackout.” This partnership continues in 2025 with the release of a third Terror Squad Air Force 1.
The 2025 Terror Squad Air Force 1 boasts a clean white leather upper paired with University Red overlays. “TS” branding is embroidered on the lateral heels, representing Terror Squad, while the back of the heels feature “JC” embroidery, which stands for Joey Crack, Fat Joe’s nickname (as well as his real name Joseph Cartagena).
The Terror Squad x Nike Air Force 1 “University Red” is slated to drop August 2025 on SNKRS and at select retailers. Check out the official images below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
Update (08/26/26): The red Terror Squad Air Force 1s that were initially expected to drop in 2025 are finally releasing. They’ll be available September 9th on SNKRS and at select retailers, including Fat Joe’s UP NYC.
