Kith is reprising its partnership with Birkenstock this Fall/Winter 2025 season to debut a new silhouette: the Boston Braided.
The Kith for Birkenstock Boston Braided features a woven upper design first introduced in 2023 on the Kith for Birkenstock London Braided. Each pair is crafted from premium cow suede and features Kith Script branding embossed on the strap, along with Birkenstock’s signature buckle. Colorways include Taupe, Mocca, and White with a rainbow underlay at the braid.
“We introduced the hand-braided execution on the London silhouette two years ago,” says Kith founder Ronnie Fieg. “It’s a very intricate process that we’ve been working to implement across other Birkenstock silhouettes. The Boston is arguably the brand’s most iconic silhouette, so it only made sense to apply our vision to it next. The results are my favorite Birkenstocks that I own.”
The Braided Boston arrives ahead of the 50th anniversary of the classic Boston slip-on, first introduced in 1976. It launches as part of Kith’s Fall/Winter 2025 season, which also includes other footwear collabs such as the Kith Classics x adidas Running Heritage collection.
Draws for the Kith x Birkenstock Boston Braided are now live on the Kith app and close on Thursday, August 21st at 11:59pm ET. The official release is set for Friday, August 22nd at Kith shops, the Kith website and app (11am ET), and on the Birkenstock 1774 website. Check out all three colorways below.
