Kith and BMW are back with the third chapter of their ongoing partnership.
Following their debut in 2020 and the launch of Chapter II in 2022, Kith and BMW reunite to create a new multifaceted experience and collection that bridges BMW’s past and present through the Kith lens.
At the heart of this collaboration are two redesigned Kith x BMW vehicles: the 1981 BMW M1 E26 by Ronnie Fieg and the 2025 BMW XM Kith Concept. The BMW M1 and the BMW XM represent the inception and evolution of the German automotive brand’s timeline, as these are the only two standalone BMW M models ever created. The BMW M1 debuted in 1978 as the first car ever created by BMW M, while the BMW XM is the first standalone BMW M model since the BMW M1.
The rebuilt one-of-a-kind 1981 Kith BMW M1 E26 comes in one of BMW’s most coveted colors, Techno Violet, which was only offered by BMW from 1994 to 2000, exclusively on the BMW M3 E36.

Meanwhile, a newly developed version was created for the one-of-one 2025 BMW XM Kith Concept — Frozen Techno Violet. This Concept vehicle comes with enhanced custom features, including revamped chassis dimensions, purple glow custom lighting effects, and fully carbon-motorsport seats. Both of these one-of-one cars will be showcased at a special Kith for BMW exhibition during Miami Art Basel, going down December 6th at 1111 Lincoln Rd.

While the one-of-one cars won’t be for sale, Kith and BMW did create a production version of the 2025 Kith BMW XM inspired by the concept version. This production model will be offered in two color options — Frozen Techno Violet and Frozen Black Metallic — and will retain the high-performance original factory design of the BMW XM, while featuring Kith-designed updates throughout.
As a nod to the number of years since the M1 debuted, only 47 units of the 2025 BMW XM by Kith will be produced worldwide. Pre-orders will begin on December 6th at 11am EST through BMW, with a retail price of $199,000 USD. Final models will be delivered to owners one year after purchase.

The accompanying Kith for BMW 2024 collection is comprised of menswear, accessories, and lifestyle goods that incorporate all three chapters of Kith for BMW in their color palette. Techno Violet is joined by Cinnabar Red from Chapter I, the signature BMW color most associated with the M3 E30, and Vitality Green, the color developed by Kith for Chapter II.
The Kith for BMW 2024 collection launches December 6th on Kith.com, at all Kith stores, and at the one-day pop-up in Miami. Check out the campaign shots below.
