Kith is continuing its 15th anniversary celebration with another collaborative footwear release, following the return of its original “Salmon Toe” with ASICS earlier this month. This time, Kith reconnects with United Arrows & Sons and New Balance for two Made in USA 990v3 colorways.
The release marks the third collaboration between Kith and United Arrows & Sons to revisit the Japanese brand’s iconic New Balance colorway. The story dates back to 2008, when the palette first appeared on the Made in USA 997.5 through United Arrows’ Beauty & Youth label, pairing a grey suede base with purple and pink accents. Ronnie Fieg has previously called it his “favorite New Balance colorway ever,” leading to a Kith and United Arrows & Sons reunion on the Made in USA 997.5 in 2018.
The trio continued the collaboration in 2022 with a take on the Made in USA 990v4, released in both adult and kids’ sizing. Now, the signature palette makes its way to the 990v3 for Kith’s 15th anniversary, featuring a dark grey mesh vamp with light grey pigskin suede overlays. Purple accents appear on the perforated toe and collar panels, while pink highlights the N logos, midsoles, and heel windows. Black tongues and heel tabs return as another signature detail from the previous collaborations.
Alongside the returning colorway, the trio introduces a new version built around a predominantly black palette. The dark grey mesh vamp is paired with black pigskin suede overlays and light grey perforated toe and collar panels, with neon green accents hitting the N logos, midsoles, and heel windows.
Both pairs feature Kith and United Arrows & Sons branding on the dubraes, while the insoles carry commemorative Kith 15th anniversary branding alongside United Arrows & Sons and New Balance logos. Custom packaging rounds out the release, with each shoebox featuring an illustration of its respective colorway alongside a matching dust bag.
The Kith, United Arrows & Sons, and New Balance Made in USA 990v3 releases exclusively in the United States on October 2 at 11am ET through Kith stores, Kith.com, and the Kith App. Check out both colorways below.
