Original Story (03/05/26): As we eagerly await the release of the MB Vomero Premium, we now have a look at the next collaboration between Nike and fashion designer Melitta Baumeister.
This time, the collaboration is on the Pegasus Premium, another top-tier running shoe introduced in 2025 that focuses on extreme cushioning and responsiveness. Baumeister’s iteration comes in a highlighter yellow “Volt” and black color scheme and features the same hand-painted distressed details found on her Vomero Premium, as well as the printed eye motif on the medial side panel. Melitta Baumeister branding is overlaid atop the lateral Swoosh, while a mini Swoosh with MB initials appears on the medial ankle collar. The shoes also feature messaging on the midsole and laces that reads “Run like no one is watching,” tying back to the eye theme.
This “Volt” colorway was first revealed by Olympic gold medalist Sha’Carri Richardson, a fitting partner given her electrifying speed and bold on-track presence. Richardson has quickly become one of the most recognizable figures in modern track and field, and her unveiling of the shoe underscores Nike’s continued push to merge elite performance with fashion-forward storytelling.

Update (03/24/26): Melitta Baumeister has officially announced the release of her Nike Pegasus Premium and Vomero Premium collab. Both pairs will be available April 1st at 9am ET on melittabaumeister.com and globally on SNKRS and at select retailers on April 8th.
