Original Story (10/12/22): Jordan Brand athlete and pro BMX rider Nigel Sylvester has taken to Instagram to reveal a never-before-seen colorway of his Jordan 1 High OG collab.
While out in New York City last night to promote his new Rizzoli book Go, Nigel turned heads with a black colorway of his 2018 Jordan 1 collab. This new pair borrows a few design cues from its predecessor, including the mini Swoosh on the toe, “scuffed” uppers, yellowed midsoles, and dark red outsoles.
It is currently unknown if this colorway will be available for purchase, but you can pick up the new book Nigel Sylvester: Go now on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and wherever books are sold.
Update (10/13/22): This Jordan 1 has been confirmed to be a gift from Jordan Brand to Nigel in celebration of his book launch, so a retail release seems unlikely. Check out some closer shots below (via Ashley Walters):
