Nike‘s cult-classic boot is officially back on the rise, and the latest proof is the upcoming Nike Air Max Goadome Low, set to release in Spring 2026.

Originally introduced in 2000, the Nike Air Max Goadome has always lived in that rare space between a functional all-conditions work boot and a street staple, a silhouette that never fully disappeared, but also never had this level of momentum until recently.

While the Goadome Low itself isn’t a rapper collab, the boot’s current wave of popularity is impossible to separate from hip-hop’s influence on sneaker culture. Artist-driven moments have kept certain silhouettes alive for decades, and in 2025, we saw Goadome collabs with the likes of Wale and Yeat’s Lifestyle Corporation. Supreme also dropped its own Goadome collab with Nike in 2021, featuring the boot in black and red snakeskin colorways.

The next chapter arrives with Nike’s low-top redesign. This version keeps the boot’s rugged identity intact while tweaking its shape for a more wearable, street-forward feel. Nike designer Frank Cooke initially revealed the silhouette in an all-black look that channels the fan-favorite “Triple Black” high-top, but the rollout is already expanding beyond one pair. Taller de Rafa, a Brooklyn-based creative studio known for culture-driven collabs that blend streetwear, design, and experimental storytelling, shared photos of both “Black” and “Taupe” colorways in a mechanic-themed photoshoot, demonstrating the boot’s versatility and its ability to translate from workwear roots to everyday street styling.

Design-wise, the Goadome Low gets updated with metal eyestays, reworked paneling, and perforations added to the leather upper. The rear overlay now blends into the heel counter for a cleaner shape, while the familiar Air-injected midsole and ACG script branding keep the rugged Goadome identity intact.
