Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 Returns in “Navy”

Following the release of the Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 “Pine Green” in 2023, the skate version of the AJ4 is now set to make its return in a new “Navy” colorway.

This sophomore colorway shares a similar look to its predecessor, replacing the Sail shade of the leather uppers with Summit White and swapping out the green accents on the midsoles, lace locks, tongue liners, and heels for navy blue. The grey suede overlays, red Jumpman logos on the tongue tags, and gum bottoms from the “Pine Green” colorway all make their return.

The Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 introduced a ton of subtle design modifications to make the shoe more suitable for skating. This includes:

• Thicker materials for durability
• Softer, more flexible midsole
• More padding on the collar
• TPU elements replaced with rubber for durability and flexibility
• Forefoot Air bag removed for a lower footbed and better board feel
• Overall shape closer to the OG 1989 Air Jordan 4 for better fit

While the official launch is not until March, Nike SB and Jordan Brand teamed up for a pre-launch of the new “Navy” SB 4 at the Jordan Fam Fest in Alameda for All-Star Weekend. San Francisco’s DLX Skateshop will also be dropping pairs on February 16th.

A “Varsity Red” colorway was also rumored to release to the public, though this iteration has been confirmed to be friends-and-family exclusive.
