Earlier this year, Pharrell Williams and his creative platform VIRGINIA debuted their highly anticipated adidas Adistar Jellyfish, a futuristic reinterpretation of the classic Adistar silhouette. Drawing inspiration from Pharrell’s hometown of Virginia Beach, the design evokes oceanic movement, featuring a flowing midsole that mimics the sea and a layered mesh upper reminiscent of coral formations. Following the release of the debut “Orange” colorway, two new iterations are now on the way: “Green” and “Grey.”
Like the debut pair, both new colorways feature white and grey uppers crafted from lightweight textile and synthetic materials for a sculptural yet breathable build. Molded TPU overlays deliver bright pops of color, while black accents cover the Three Stripes and rubber outsole. A chunky Adiprene-cushioned midsole anchors the design, balancing performance with Pharrell’s human-centered approach to form and flow.
