Pharrell Williams doesn’t let a good silhouette sit still. The VIRGINIA Vario Flat Earther is back, and this time it’s traded its leather construction for suede.
Following its debut a couple months back, the low-profile Pharrell x adidas silhouette returns in two new colorways, black and blue, that carry the shoe into softer territory.
The shoe’s roots haven’t moved. This is still a Yoga Vario at its core, a 2004 archive pull originally built around the idea of deliberate, mindful movement. Pharrell’s been running with that energy across his whole VIRGINIA universe, the same surreal, always-on-vacation state of mind that produced the Jellyfish before any of this, and the Flat Earther has always been the grounded counterpart to that floating feeling.
Full suede wraps the upper with a worn-in warmth that the leather colorways didn’t convey, making the already cozy silhouette feel even more lived-in. The magnetic closure system stays intact: no laces, no fuss, just slip them on and go. Flip them over, and VIRGINIA’s name is stamped into the outsole’s abstract traction pattern, quiet but present.
