Salehe Bembur's SPUNGE Announces Global Retail Partnerships With New Osmosis Colorways

Sneaker design veteran Salehe Bembury launched his own independent footwear brand, SPUNGE, earlier this year with the Osmosis in four colorways that sold out instantly when they were made available exclusively on the brand’s website. Bembury is now expanding the world of SPUNGE through a global retail launch, featuring three new colorways and the return of the “Yukon.”

The new colorways include purple and green “Shallot,” black “Orca,” and white “Feta,” each featuring a lightweight ripstop upper, SPUNGE’s proprietary SQUISH TECH performance cushioning system, an engineered stability cage, and reinforced abrasion-resistant rubber toe cap.

SPUNGE is the first independent footwear brand to launch across a global network of top-tier retailers without the backing of a corporate footwear group. Starting November 15th, the brand will roll out through a network of 12 premium retail doors spanning North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. After introducing the brand through his online drop and moments with Kith, Rizzoli, and ComplexCon, this expansion represents the first stage of SPUNGE’s long-term retail strategy focused on growing intentionally with partners who share its design values and commitment to community.
