Original Story (06/02/26): Beijing’s SOULGOODS has been operating at a high level with Nike for a while now, Dunks, a Jordan Air Ship, credibility built over years of thoughtful work. But the Homescape Woven is a different conversation. This isn’t a colorway or an archival pull. It’s a shoe that didn’t exist before SOULGOODS co-founder Wu Yue sat down and built it from scratch.
The starting point was the Footscape Woven, but Yue kept pulling threads. The silhouette displays the Nike Considered line’s commitment to craft and material honesty, as well as the Special Field Boot’s rugged, outdoor-functional sole. To top it off, elements of his Chinese heritage are woven into the design’s overall sensibility. What emerged is a shoe that sits at an unusual intersection: woven leather paneling in tumbled leather with long suede and nubuck across the upper. To keep entry fast, a quick-lace toggle system was implemented with a tiger-shaped lock to help keep it in place. The most interesting detail Yue added was the heel, which is a cushioned leather that collapses entirely, turning it into a mule when you want it to be. The name Homescape covers all of it, the Footscape lineage, the cozy slip-on functionality, the sense that this is a shoe built for comfort as much as for going outside.
Three colorways are set to launch this year. The “Medium Orewood Brown” and “Chile Red” colorways were debuted by Yue at ComplexCon 2025, the former featuring cream and brown leather on a grey sole, the latter dressed in red leather over a hairy tan suede toe cap, all on a black sole. The “Blue Beyond” colorway, debuted by @sneakerdenn, is the one SOULGOODS fans will clock immediately, a sky and royal blue build with an olive sole is the same colorway that first appeared on last year’s SOULGOODS Converse One Star.
The SOULGOODS x Nike Homescape Woven is set to launch in the coming weeks via SOULGOODS, Nike, and select retailers.
