Takashi Murakami and Drake’s OVO have announced the release of their collaborative “Surplus” capsule collection.
The capsule stars October’s Very Own and Murakami’s “Flower Owl,” a hybrid character that combines Murakami’s signature KaiKai KiKi flower and the OVO owl, which is placed on a number of army surplus pieces available in different color options. The petals, wing, and foot take on pastel hues and the character is displayed front and center on each style, though perched on the back of the jacket.
The collection includes hoodies ($268 USD), tees ($58 USD), beanies ($48 USD), and a M65 jacket ($398 USD). Available Friday, December 20th via OVO online and at all OVO locations, as well as through Murakami’s Tonari no Zingaro store.
