adidas has reunited with the classic animated TV show The Simpsons this spooky season for another special “Treehouse of Horror” release.
Following last year’s “Bart & Hugo” drop, the Three Stripes is now dropping a “Werewolf Flanders” Rivalry 86 Low inspired by The Simpsons’ annual Treehouse of Horror special for Halloween.
The shoe features a similar color scheme to the Flanders-inspired adidas McCarten from 2021, with uppers dressed in olive and brown, pink on the sockliner, and a black outsole. However, this time the tongues and side panels are covered in a fleece material to mimic the look of Werewolf Flanders from Treehouse of Horror X, which first aired on Halloween of 1999. The shoe also comes with special insoles with a bloody “I Know What You Did” message that references the specific segment from the 1999 episode, a parody of the 1997 horror film I Know What You Did Last Summer.
Like last year’s Treehouse of Horror x adidas release, this “Werewolf Flanders” Rivalry Low also features a bright green special box and comes packaged with additional accessories. This includes a leather hangtag, three enamel pins, and special “I Know What You Diddily-Iddly-Did” wrapping paper.
