The Whitaker Group and adidas Originals are back with the fifth drop from their Do Not Duplicate series, adding another chapter to their storytelling platform grounded in individuality, originality, and lived expression.
This chapter introduces a brand new silhouette, the adidas BW Run, a hybrid model that combines the DNA of 1970s-era adidas running shoes with the T-toe upper of the BW Army, the original “GAT” model designed as an indoor training shoe for the West German military.
TWG introduces the vintage-inspired BW Run in a charcoal grey, earthy brown, and cream colorway crafted from a premium mix of suede, nylon, and leather. Underfoot, the shoes are equipped with a treaded rubber outsole, pulling from traction used in Three Stripes’ TERREX outdoor trail-running line.
The shoe also features minimalist design cues seen in previous Do Not Duplicate drops, including blank tongue tags, Morse Code-inspired notches on the heel tabs, and a metallic hang tag with DND in Morse Code.
The draw for the Do Not Duplicate BW Run is now open via A Ma Maniére’s EQL page and closes on May 20th at 8pm ET. Remaining pairs will be available online on May 21st at 11am ET, in-store at A Ma Maniére D.C. and Houston at 12pm local time, and at the grand opening of the A Ma Maniére Atlanta flagship at 7pm.
