The Whitaker Group x adidas Do Not Duplicate "The Collection"

The Whitaker Group and adidas are back with the fourth installment of Do Not Duplicate, their collaborative series rooted in individuality, creative authorship, and cultural expression.

Simply titled “The Collection,” the drop features a brand new silhouette developed exclusively for this partnership, the adidas BW 2000s. The model was designed as a Y2K-inspired iteration of the classic 1970’s BW Army silhouette, which was originally designed as an indoor training shoe for the German army—a detail that led to its widely used GAT (German Army Trainer) nickname. TWG is dropping two colorways of this silhouette, each featuring a padded build, cracked leather uppers, smooth leather overlays on the eyelets and heels, hairy suede overlays on the toe and side panels, and oversized fuzzy laces.

The Collection also features two colorways of the classic Handball Spezial, reworked with elevated materials and color palettes. One pair features a smooth cream leather upper with yellow side stripes and purple suede overlays, while the other is dressed in minty green with grey suede overlays, and pink heel panel, and green stripes.

Previous drops from the Do Not Duplicate series include the “Houston Rodeo” pack, the “404 Peachtree” pack dedicated to Atlanta, and the Adizero EVO SL “Day Glow” pack.

The EQL draws for The Whitaker Group x adidas Do Not Duplicate Drop 4 “The Collection” pack are now live via A Ma Maniére, Social Status, APB, and JAIDE, and will close on April 22nd at 8pm ET. Pairs will also be available via The Whitaker Group retailers on April 24th online (11am ET) and in-store at 12pm local time. Check out all four pairs below.
