Travis Barker and Vans are running it back. Following their first sneaker collaboration in 2025, the Southern California drummer and footwear brand are reconnecting for a second collection built around punk music, skateboarding, and the work ethic behind Barker’s career.
The new Travis Barker x Vans Old Skool flips the darker look of the first release with a clean white canvas upper. “Dues Paid” lettering appears across the vamp, while a barbed-wire graphic wraps around the foxing. Cotton laces and Barker’s logo on the tongue and heel complete the design.
The collection also includes apparel carrying the phrases “Dues Paid” and “Self Made.” Both messages fit Barker’s story. His rise did not happen overnight.
Barker became a household name behind the drum kit for Blink-182, helping bring pop-punk into the mainstream during the late 1990s and early 2000s. But his reach stretches much further. Over the years, he has worked across punk, hip-hop, alternative music, and pop, becoming one of the rare musicians who can move between those worlds without appearing out of place. His tattoos, clothing, BMX roots, and connection to skate culture have also made him a recognizable style figure well beyond music.
His history makes Vans a natural partner. Barker grew up in Fontana, California, surrounded by the same Southern California mix of skateboarding, BMX, punk shows, and street culture that helped shape Vans. He has worn the shoes for decades, including throughout his Warped Tour years and during countless performances.
The campaign leans fully into that shared history. Shot by photographer and Vans Brand Curator Atiba Jefferson, it features Barker alongside Tim Armstrong, The Paradox, N8NOFACE, Missy of Mannequin Pussy, Dani Miller of Surfbort, and others. The visuals borrow from homemade punk zines, flyers, and the rough DIY design that once covered venue walls and record-store counters.
The release also arrives during one of Vans’ strongest cultural stretches in years. Throughout 2026, the brand has moved comfortably between high fashion, independent art, music, and core skateboarding. Projects with Valentino, Parra, OAMC, Julian Klincewicz, and Metagirl have brought new ideas to familiar silhouettes without stripping away what made people care about Vans in the first place.
Vans feels hotter than it has in a long time. The brand has trusted its history while giving the right artists room to leave a mark.
The Vans x Travis Barker collection releases Thursday, June 18th via Vans.com, select Vans stores, Journeys.com, and participating Journeys locations. Vans Family members will receive early access to limited quantities on June 17th at 8am PT. Check out the pair below.
