Pokémon & Uniqlo UT Celebrate 30th Anniversary of Red and Blue

A second collection featuring video game artwork has been unveiled.

Uniqlo has unveiled its second UT collection for 2026 celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Pokémon franchise.

While the first collection centers around the original artwork of Ken Sugimori, this latest offering features monochrome, video game-style pixel art pulled from the Gen 1 Pokémon games: Red, Blue, and Yellow. Designs for the adult tees include a Mewtwo sprite graphic tee with a hidden Mew on the back, a white tee featuring the title screen of Pokémon Red, an evolving Pikachu tee with a hidden Raichu inside the pocket, and a Pokémon Gym-themed tee featuring one of each of the eight gym leaders’ Pokémon across the chest and the eight Kanto gym badges on the left sleeve.

The kids’ offering adds color to the mix, nodding to how the Gen 1 games were playable on both the original Game Boy and on Game Boy Color. The kids’ Pikachu tee features three sprites pulled from Pokémon Yellow on the left chest, each showcasing one of Pikachu’s different moods. This tee also features a Pikachu sprite on the back pulled from Red and Blue. Rounding out the kid’s tees is a Gengar tee in black, a Pokémon Red title screen tee in blue, and a full party tee featuring six fan-favorite Pokémon: Magikarp, Psyduck, Snorlax, Pikachu, Eevee, and Dragonite.

The second Uniqlo UT x Pokémon 30th anniversary collection will be available at Uniqlo stores and the Uniqlo website, releasing in late July or early August depending on region. Check out the complete lineup below.
