Earlier this year, Australian-based retailer Up There officially joined the adidas Consortium family with the launch of the Melbourne, bringing the City Series down under. The duo are now dropping a black colorway of the silhouette, inspired by the city’s love of wearing all-black fits.
Building off archival references from the Three Stripes’ extensive history, the follow-up colorway continues paying homage to the adidas Rome, a rare Australian-made model that was designed for military use.
The stealthy pair stands out through its texture, crafted with full grain tumbled leather uppers, rough-cut suede at the toe, and polished leather Three Stripes on the side panels. Key details include “MADE FOR UP THERE” written on the tongue, green lace tips, and insoles done up in Up There’s signature bright green hue.
The second colorway of the Up There x adidas Melbourne will be available May 7th exclusively at Up There in-store (10am AEST) and online (6pm AEST). Check them out below.
