Victor Solomon and Nike are kicking off the 2026-27 NBA season with the third installment of their “Trophies” collection. The latest drop brings the Air Foamposite One, Air Force 1, and Air Max 90 together in a royal blue and gold color scheme that feels right at home in New York basketball territory.
The latest trio continues Solomon’s ongoing exploration of basketball, luxury craftsmanship, and sneaker design. The royal blue palette also brings to mind the New York Knicks, making the timing particularly fitting as a new NBA season gets underway. With championship aspirations once again surrounding the Knicks, the collection’s trophy-inspired theme feels especially relevant to the city’s basketball faithful.
The “Trophies” series debuted during NBA All-Star Weekend 2026 in Los Angeles with a white, gold, and black collection, followed by a black and gold edition in July to coincide with WNBA All-Star Weekend. This latest release shifts the palette to blue and gold, continuing the series’ theme of reimagining classic sneakers through Solomon’s artistic lens.
Known for his intricate basketball sculptures, stained-glass-inspired work, and ornate trophy designs, Solomon brings a fine-art sensibility to the collaboration. His Nike projects draw on the same mix of sport, material experimentation, and decorative detail, turning familiar silhouettes into statement pieces.
The third “Trophies” collection was announced by Kith, with the retailer stating that the sneakers are available now in-store and online. While the sneakers have yet to appear on Kith’s website, reports indicate that pairs are in stock at the retailer’s New York City locations. A wider release through SNKRS is expected later this year, though official release details have yet to be confirmed.
